The effect of additional turmeric flour in rations on the performance and egg quality of laying chicken isa brown strain age 70th weeks

Abstract This research aims to study and analyze the effect of adding turmeric flour ( Curcuma domestica Val) in rations on performance 70 weeks old Isa Brown strain laying hens. The method used this was an experimental with a completely randomized design (CRD) step five treatments four replications. number chickens as many 40 given sample were P0 = feed without giving (control), P1 0.3% flour, P2 0.5% P3 0.7% treatment P4 by 0,9%. results showed that hens affected chicken egg quality. concludes percentage Brown’s 70-week is best for ration consumption, Hen Day Production, weight, conversion, quality: Haught Unit, yolk color, index, grading mass. Based haugh unit value, all eggs produced are still AA grade category
